Hi there,

Just installed this extension as per the instructions and when I navigate to my control panel on iPhone, I get this message.  Did I miss a step?

Clicking the “Extension Settings” button leads me back to the same page with the “Please enter a valid license code” message (screenshot below).

In the extension settings using a non-mobile browser the license code is appearing.

Any ideas?

Juan,

Did you enter the license code in the settings section of the extension? This license code was provided to you when you bought the add-on You have to enter it and and then click submit. Please let me know if this works.

thanks

Yep, entered the license code in the settings when I bought it.  Just checked it again, and it’s definitely there.

are you using it on the domain name you entered before purchasing the add-on? the license code only allows you to use it on a single domain.

Ahhh, this would make sense.  I am using it on the same domain, but a different subdomain for development purposes.

So in the license, I entered “www.mysite.com”, but I have a development area on my site located at “dev.mysite.com”.  I guess these wouldn’t count as a single domain?

Hi - i have a very similar problem. Bought the extension from the Ee-heist offer. Zach has sent me a license code for my domain which I have entered in the extension admin page in EE per your instruction but when I log into my CP on the iphone I get the same screen of doom as JuanLargo screen grabbed. I have tried with and without the www. on my domain in case that was affecting it but its the same result - keeps asking for valid license code. Any suggestions please.

Hi Simon, we have sent you an updated license code which should hopefully fix the problem you’re encountering. Let us know if it didn’t. Thanks

Zach,

I tried the 3rd licence number you kindly sent - screen of doom again.

I decided to go through the whole install again (4th time) and noticed that on your product page for the download section you have an input field for the license for downloading. I tried all 3 licenses in this and only the 1st one was accepted - so I downloaded that zip (in case the download added the license number into the zip file somewhere) and installed that with the 1st number in the extension settings. No change - I still get the screen of doom for both www and non www URLs for my site.

I don’t think I have mentioned yet but:
My EE system is 1.6.7 and its runnning on PHP5 - I have not seen any install restrictions in your documentation so am assuming that I don’t need EE 1.6.8.
System Directory is not masked and is renamed (nto system).
I did notice when I disabled and re-enabled the extension the license number had vanished - assumed that was normal. Do I need to set permissions on any of the upload files?

I don’t know what to try next.

What I did try was logging out of EE and then entering via the mobile file - /system/mobile_admin.php (when I had logged in on previous attempts I went to /system/index.php I logged in via the normal EE admin log in screen - should i get that with Mobile Admin activated?) and I was shown the mobile log-in fields but when I logged in I got the screen of doom again (this with latest licence number 6d9b….).

OK we got it fixed - for anyone else having the same issue. In the end it was discovered that a typo for the domain name had been made when generating the license number - always worth checking that the domain name is correct!

So is it indeed the case that the license codes do not work with subdomains?  If not, could you advise on how to get it working?
