Blank Extensions Page

I just purchased and installed the EE Mobile Admin Extension but when I go to the Extension page in my CP I get a blank page.  When I remove it, I am able to access the Ext. page again.

I’m guessing there is a conflict with another extension? Are you aware of any conflicts?

I’m using EE v 1.6.8

Thanks,
Brad Hopkins

I’ll provide a list of extensions shortly.  Is there any specific requirements (PHP version) for the extension to work?

Thanks,
Brad Hopkins

if EE is working then your version of PHP should be fine

thanks brad, thats quite a list and some of them are commercial third party extensions. i wonder could you try disabling a few at a time in order to determine which one is causing the conflict. in the meantime we’ll test some of them out.
cheers

I’ve disabled all of the extensions that I felt comfortable disabling and still no luck.  Question - If I disable an extension will I lose the data associated with it?  For example, I can’t afford to lose all of the data associated with the Coollocation extension so I can’t test whether it is the issue.

Here is the list that I’ve not turned off.

Parse Rating Stats
LG Polls: Poll Question
jQuery for the Control Panel (v.1.1.1)
NP Show Categories (v.1.1)
CoolLocation Extension (v.1.4.3)
LG Polls: Controller (v.1.0.6)
Tracker Extension (v.1.2.0)
File, by Mark Huot (v.3.1.1)
Related Entries Extension (v.1.1.2)
Delete Ratings (v.1.0.0)

-Thanks,
Brad Hopkins

best not to risk disabling extensions with important data, most likely your data will be safe but not worth the risk. we’ll try to test as many of those extensions as possible and let you know what we come up with

thanks, it looks like error reporting is turned off so you are getting a blank page instead of a php error which will (hopefully) reveal the problem. can you try turning on error reporting in your index.php file in your system folder:

error_reporting(1);

then see if you get any errors. if not then you should try to turn it on in your php config settings.

Done but I still don’t get errors, just a blank page. Is it an issue that the main index.php (not the system index.php) is not named index.php but index_10.php?  This site hasn’t launched yet and we’re using index_10.php for now.

no i don’t think that would have any effect. without seeing the errors its very hard to troubleshoot. if you send me a private message with ftp access details to the extension folder and temporary login details to the CP then i can run a few quick tests.
