Yeah, I had to remove the extension and I removed everything (lang file as well). During initial install and testing I had everything in its proper place.

Over the weekend we upgraded our server and this issue is now resolved. Never figured out what the issue was. Thanks for the support and trying to help troubleshoot this.

One quick question, is there a way to add an iPhone home screen icon? For my public facing site I have one set : <link rel=“apple-touch-icon” href=“http://inthepanhandle.com/images/ui/iphonetouch.jpg”> Is there a way to do this with the Mobile Admin?

Hi,

I’m seeing the same thing - blank extensions admin page in CP after installing. Other extensions that we are using are;

LG Tiny MCE
Show Categories

I’ve also had to delete the mobile admin directory and files to get the extensiuons admin page displaying again.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

Nick

also might be worth temporarily deactivating the other two extensions you have, and then trying to activate EE Mobile Admin. that will at least help us to rule out a conflict with another extension.

H Ben,

It’s PHP 4 on that particular server.

I can try disabling the other extensions to see if there is a conflict - is that fairly simple? We’re fairly new to EE.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Ben,

OK, tried disabling the other extensions, and then re-installed the files onto the server, but same problem - blank page :-(

Looks like it;‘s the ext.mobile_admin.php file that’s causing the problem. If I remove that but leave the mobile_admin directory in system directory then the CP is OK. As soon as I put ext.mobile_admin.php in the extensions directory then it falls over.

thanks nick, at present the add-on requires PHP5 so thats the issue. we will be releasing an update in the coming days that makes it compatible with PHP4 so it will work for you then. i’ll let you know as soon as the new version is available.

Hi Ben,

OK, thanks for that. We’ll probably upgrade to PHP5 at some point in the next couple of months, but a PHP 4 version would be good.

Cheers,

Nick
